I wonder what would have been the reaction to a “66’s fart record” added to a Fuzzy Warbles volumeâ€¦ ; )
I agree with mr Partridge about some demo versions being more powerful when “raw”, with less production. Especially concerning some songs from Nonsuch or Oranges and Lemmons. Definitely, that all Fuzzy Warbles idea was a GREAT one. Thank you Andy for being tenacious and offering us that wonderful FW Collection, with the perfect box to put it in.

ALWAYS WINTER BUT NEVER CHRISTMAS never made it onto any of the Fuzzy Warbles compilations either. And it WAS good enough to be included. Thankfully I still have the cassette I was given at the XTC Convention in Barrie Ontario in 1991.

Couldn’t agree more with Andy’s comments about the demo version of ‘That Wave’. Although Nonsuch is one of my favourite albums, I much prefer this version to that on the album. ‘That Wag’ just adds to the whole thing.
