Monstrance – Andy & Barry Chew The Gristle (Part Two)
April 24th, 2007
Tune into the second installment, where Andy and Barry continue their chat about the complete history of everythingness and momentarily delve into the mighty Monstrance double album.
Discover the plight of Englands disappearing fields, what Andy was feeding Jack Wilde
and some classic reminiscences of Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer.
You’ll be tickled, tantalized and you might even want to buy the album

Ah, thanks for that. These chats are truly great.
Agreed Per – these podcasts are excellent. I don’t want them to end! Could listen to these guys all day.
“Have you slimed yet?”
Well, that is so funny!
Lot of more editing in these intervies than in the album. He, he…
Aside from the phlegm discussion (during which I had to plug my ears), I loved it. More of this kind of podcast, please.
I laughed, I cried, it left me weak and weepy…two thumbs up.
All of that and a bit of English environmental history as well. Awesome. But I don’t think I can ever hear the All Along the Watchtower cover again without having a bit of a gag refex!
Is there any chance to get this Cd on South America, Don´t forget Us Boys………
Saludos Musiqueros
Dude, that harmonica story……….OH, God, how the body can be manipulated by suggestion! Kinda’ like talking about being hit in the ‘nuts’ and feeling it.
Ah…the spirit of Derek & Clive lives on! Can we expect more ‘Barry & Andy’?? Especially since this one seems to end a bit abruptly…more please!!
“Barry & Andy” The new hit late night TV hosts.
I turned a guy onto Monstrance, and his immediate pick for favorite track is Mig.
It’s great to hear these two 50+ guys talking about spitting and wanking. I tried my best to keep from laughing out loud but the other people in the bus gave me strange looks anyway (I couldn’t help grinning like mad).
I hope the podcasts will continue or else we need more Monstrance as an excuse to have more of these podcasts
I’ve only just started listening to these and they’re excellent! It’s like Andrews and Partridge Unplanned or something – you could get a show out of this.
