I've always enjoyed XTC and Shriekback. As I've gotten older, it's good to hear they are still making music and back together - I am not sure - did Barry and Andy have a falling out? Their best music came in different bands after Barry left XTC although those first two XTC albums weren't bad. Still, it's good to hear they are back together and able to work with each other. I have to say they are much smarter than I am and I feel ignorant listening to their new music. I am trying to listen to the podcast to get an idea about what they are trying to do with Moonstance. I know it's creative and smart, but I'm just a simple bloke who likes tunes to hum and sing to and later think about. This music is more experimental - and maybe that's the point. Thanks (Andy and Barry - and Colin and Gregory if they're still around) for all the great music and lyrics through the years.

The 4 newer tacks are even better the the album imo.
Trippy, hypnotic....I'd even say catchy (to my ears).

Well, I find this Podcast Video interesting. The technological know how to deliver it to my Mac for free is commendable for a start.

It doesn't seem to fit into the conventional "song format structure" that I would anticipate from an XTC creation. More experimental and atmospheric than predictable and pop.

I still love good well structured songs.
