Andy, thanks for the update. I can’t get Jen’s “Wire Wire” out of my head — and I can’t wait for the album to come out! I’ve also been lending the Milk & Honey Band CD around…what a great record.

I´m really looking forward to recieve “The Complete & Utter Dukes Box Set” x 2. The pictures tells me it is something out of the ordinary. Maybe even in the same division as the “Collector´s Box” loaded with Fuzzy Warbles!?

Downloads are fine for the iPod but the real thing is so much better for your soul and ears. It is a shame that an whole generation gets used to worse soundquality. It is really several steps backwards, but sadly it´s a losing battle, I think. MP3:s will rule more and more.

But still, we are a bunch out there that want the real stuff and the best real stuff is of course vinyl. So YES, I will love the sound of the cartridge tracing the analog APE grooves…

For placing Lighterthief on the map, and getting the band more attention, have the download EP:s been a good start and strategy. It´s thrilling news that we can look forward to a “real” album. I have said it before and say it again. Lighterthief deserves to be heard loud and clear. The only band in the world that have Andy Partridge and Jen Olive as bandmembers!

In my humble opinion I think that all fans shall buy directly from APE, if possible. After buying so much XTC-stuff through the years I find it very satisfying that the entertainer, and not some Big Time Operator, gets a bigger share.

Andy – may you long keep on being onwards and upwards. You are the man!
